Debbie Rota
Colorado Springs, Colo. — Debra Jean "Debbie" Rota, 48, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, died Wednesday (Dec. 4, 2002) at University of Colorado Hospital in Denver.
The funeral will be at 10:30 AM Wednesday at the Taber Funeral Home in Oakland with Todd Leathermon officiating. Burial will be in Van Voorhis Cemetery, north of Hindsboro. Visitation will be 4 to 8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
She was born December 1, 1954, in Tuscola, the daughter of Max and Mary Bacon Douglas.
Survivors include her mother of Hindsboro; one son, Garrett of Colorado Springs, Colorado; two daughters, Angela and Rachel, both of Colorado Springs, Colorado; and one brother Brent Douglas of Bloomington.
Mrs. Rota was a teacher-assistant working with special needs children and also a physical therapy assistant. She attended the Hindsboro Christian Church and Woodmen Valley Chapel Church in Colorado Springs.
Memorials may be made to the Hindsboro Christian Church.
