He was born Jan. 19, 1894, in Murray, Ky. On Jan. 3, 1916, he married the former Miss Opal Mae Childers, who preceded him in death on Nov. 12, 1968.
Surviving are two sons, Toll Allen and Leon Allen; five daughters, Mrs. Myrl Brandon, Mrs. Geneva Mitchell, Mrs. Eva Mitchell, Mrs. Earline Gaddy and Mrs. Aline Garrett; a brother, Roy Allen; a half brother, Stanley Giles; 25 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday at the Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Charleston.
