Mrs. Cora Viola Loe, 34, Dies From Complications Resulting From Influenza -- Funeral Sunday.
Mrs. Cora Viola Loe, wife of James Ellsworth Loe of Peabody avenue, died at her home at 3:30 o'clock Friday morning after an illness of eleven years duration. Mrs. Loe suffered a severe attack of influenza eleven years ago from which she never fully recovered.
The decesed was a native of Columbia township, a daughter of the late Adam Anders and Sarah Stults Andres. She was born October 19, 1896 and at the time of her death was 34 years, 5 months, and 23 days old.
On October 19, 1916 she was married to James E. Loe. Surviving are the husband; four children. Charlotte Ilene, aged 11, Ralph, 8, Patricia Deane, 6, and Alice Joy, 2; three brothers, Roy, Homer and Robert Anders of Columbia township; two sisters, Mrs. Walter Shepherd of Columbia City and Mrs. Henry Kiefer of Burket, Ind.
Mrs. Loe was devoted to her home and family. She had many friends who sincerely mourn her death.
Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the United Bretheren church with Rev. N.C. McCoy officiating, Burial will be made in South Park cemetery.
