Services for Della Marie Aaron will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 13, 2013, at Swan-Wood Springs United Methodist Church, 12005 U.S. Highway 69 N., Tyler, 75706, with Pastor Marion Burgess officiating. A graveside service will follow in Hopewell Cemetery. Visitation will be at Hilliard Funeral Home on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m.

Mrs. Aaron passed away at the age of 88 on April 9, 2013, in Grand Saline.

Della Marie Pittman Aaron was born May 23, 1924, in Lindale. She was raised in Lindale and returned 30 years ago, following her retirement. She lived in Duncanville 40 years, where she and her husband owned and operated 20th Century Cleaners and Glen Oaks Cleaners. She was a member of Swan-Wood Springs United Methodist Church and enjoyed gardening, photography and dining with friends and family. She was one of nine children, and married John Paul Aaron Sr. on Jan. 11, 1946.

She was preceded in death by her children, Charles Aaron, Ronald Aaron and Thomas Aaron; brothers, Raymond Pittman, Henry Pittman; and her parents, C.W. and Lois Pittman.

Survivors include her husband of 67 years, Paul Aaron Sr.; children, Jim Aaron, John Aaron Jr., Paula McIntosh and Victoria Aaron; siblings, Troy Pittman, Hubert Pittman, Jerry Pittman, Mary McGahey, Claudine Morrison and Pat Maxwell; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Harlie Aaron, Aaron Tuttle, Adrian Tuttle, Adam Tuttle, Kenneth Willis, David Willis, Micah Pisors and Maysen Kretz.

Honorary pallbearers will be Troy Pittman, Hubert Pittman, Jim Aaron and John Aaron Jr.

If desired, memorials may be made to Swan-Wood Springs United Methodist Church, 12005 U.S. Highway 69 N., Tyler, 75706.
