Anni, was the eldest of 11 children born to Johannes and Maria Brammer in Kiel, Germany. She immigrated to the United States in 1925, entering through Ellis Island, N.Y. She had spent her years in America living in Milwaukee, northern Wisconsin near Drummond, on farms in Helenville and Grellton, Vero Beach, Fla., and her later years in Lake Mills near her family. Anni was married to Robert Martin in 1928 and Frank Bonacker in 1941 and raised four children from those families.
Anni is surived by her children, Betty Minash DeNood of Madison, Donald Martin of Fort Atkinson, Erika (Edward) Spiegelhoff of Lake Mills, and Fred (Susan) Bonacker of Belleville; her grandchildren, Michael Minash, Keith Minash, Lynn (Ted) Midthun, Linda Chapin, Susan (Jim) Kibbe, Jayne (Mike) Tracy, Lisa Martin, Robert (Kathy) Spiegelhoff; Ronald (Nancy) Spiegelhoff, Gayle (Dan) Renz, Elizabeth (Jim) Glynn, Margaret (Johnny) Palecek; 23 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Kate Petersen of Oconomowoc and Lisa Bollmann of Blue Grass, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Robert Martin and Frank Bonacker; her sisters, Magda of the United States, and Helmi, Mia and Herta, all in Germany; and her brothers, Klaus, Detlef, Hans and Robert all in Germany.
