Carroll Jennings Fincham, son of Isaac and Abbie McMillan Fincham, was born June 19, 1916 and passed away Mar. 4, 1966 in the Missouri State Sanitorium at Mount Vernon, Mo after a long illness.
While Carroll was still a small boy, the family moved from the farm home near Blue Rapids, KS to a farm near Home City, Marshall Co., KS. Thereafter he was engaged in farming with his father and younger brothers until he went to St. Joseph, MO where he was employed by the Wilson Construction Co. until his health failed.
On Oct. 3, 1953, Carroll was united in marriage with Genevive Scotton. To this union were born six children; Carroll, Jr., Lola, Darroll, Lovella, Karen, and Gay.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister. His children with two step-daughters, Nancy and Thelma Jean, all of the home, mourn his passing.
