Funeral service for Mrs. Mary Ellen Noe, 66, were held from the Wellington Church of the Nazarene, Wednesday, May 8.
Mrs. Noe was well known in this county, having resided here for the past nine years. She was born January 16, 1869 in Marion County, Arkansas and at the time of her death was 66 years, three months and 21 days of age. She was a member of the Nazarene Church in Wellington and had many friends here.
She is survived by her husband, W. J. Noe of Wellington; five sons, P.E. Bawcom, W.H. Bawcom, both of Wellington; T.F. Noe of Portales, NM; E.F. Noe of Wichita Falls, and R.C. Noe of Houston; one daughter, Mrs. W. T. Skinner of Buffalo, GA.
Two brothers, J.J. Briggs of Yellville, Arkansas, and R.M. Briggs of Beeton, Texas.
Two sisters, Mrs. Doc Cowdrey of Muskegee and Mrs. John Bryant of Kansas City, MO.
Also eight grandsons, five granddaughters and two great-grandchildren.
