Stavros Kokkinakis, 67 years old of Kansas City, MO, passed away on April 08, 2013.
Visitation will be held between 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm on April 11, 2013 at the Greek Orthodox Church of Annunciation, 12001 Wornall Rd., K.C., MO. The Trisagion prayer will be said at 7:30pm. Funeral services will be at 10 AM Friday at the church with burial following in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
Stavros was born in Nevrokopi, Greece on July 23, 1945. He traveled to America at the age of 24 and resided in Kansas City, MO where he owned and operated Steve's Tailor Shop for many years. Kansas City is where he became actively involved in the Greek Orthodox Church most notably with A.H.E.P.A.
Stavros is survived by his daughter Katerina and sons Christos and Nikos. He was preceded in death by Sharon Sue Kokkinakis.
