Anna Jean Jolley was born Sept. 24, 1922, to Earl and Marie Shreck in Ogden, Utah and graduated in 1940 from Ogden High School. She was married to Wayne Burnett on Jan. 22, 1941, moved to Alaska in 1952, and married Lester Jolley on Aug. 10, 1953. Jean was a wonderful homemaker, known for her servant's heart and cheerful disposition. She held a position at Big O's Automotive Inc. in Anchorage for twenty-five years. Jean was an avid sports fan and loved to travel but her greatest passion was her family. Her generosity and kind heart were an inspiration to all who knew her. Jean passed away Feb. 24, 2006. She will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Jolley and her sons John Burnett and Roger Burnett. In addition to a sister and brother and their spouses, she leaves five children and their spouses, twenty-two grandchildren, thirty-four great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
