POLAND – There will be funeral services at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, April 9, 2013, at the Rossi Brothers & Lellio Funeral Home in Boardman for Margie F. Chaibi, 77, who passed away Friday afternoon, April 5, surrounded by her loving family.
Margie was born Feb. 16, 1936, in Buffalo, N.Y., the daughter of James and Margaret (Delaney) Murphy.
She was a loving and caring foster parent to many children for over 40 years. She was a wonderful mother to many and always lent a helping hand to others. Margie was an avid reader, enjoyed working crossword puzzles and loved spending time with her family and friends.
Margie will always be loved and remembered by her seven children, Cathy O'Donnell of Buffalo, Bob (Gwen) Chaibi of Youngstown, Zahara (Wayn Barnette) Chaibi of Lowellville, Zayna Kriebel of Poland and with whom she made her home, Tammy (John) Chaibi-Wacht of Lowellville, Joey Letina of Dublin and Molly (Jaimy) Dupuy of Youngstown; daughter-in-law, Lisa Chaibi; 20 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Geri Franklin of Texas and Pat Heuster of Maryland; a brother, Butch Homer of Louisiana; and close neighbor and best friend, Lisa (Pagan) Moore.
Beside her parents; she was preceded in death by her grandmother, Florence, who raised her; her husband, Assad Chaibi Sr.; three children, Margaret "Peggy" O'Donnell, Mohammed Chaibi Sr.; and Ahmed Chaibi; and a grandson, Mohammed Chaibi Jr.
