Born in Decatur, IN April 26, 1918, daughter of Roman R. Parent and Clara A. Tricker Parent.
Julia lived most of her adult life in Ft. Wayne, and had spent the last nine years at her home at Lake George. She graduated from St. Joseph's School of Nursing in Ft. Wayne, in 1939. She was a cat lover, bird watcher and avid cook book collector.
Surviving are her, sons John of San Antonio, TX and Jim (Robin) of Coldwater, MI, daughters Karen (Jim) Yankosky of Brighton, MI; Ann Georgi of Coldwater, MI; and Jenny (Stefan) Gschwendtner of Tucson, AZ; sister Jane Reiz of Altadena,CA; grandchildren Matthew, James, Julie, and Jeffrey, and 9 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Arnold, in 1999, brothers Jim and Jack Parent, sister's Joan Ulman and Joyce Heim, son-in-law John Gerogi, and granddaughter Mandy Bagley.
Burial in Lindenwood Cemetery, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
