He was born August 8, 1943 to Harry L and D. Lucille (Jessop) Beer.
He married Jacquelyn (Craft) on Septemer 11, 1965, she survives.
Robert (Bob) was a life long resident of Milford. he graduated from Warsaw High School in 1962. He was President and CEO of Beer's & Jessop's Co., Inc.
Bob was an eagle scout and he served in Army Reserves from 1964-1970. He was precinct commiteeman for Van Buren Township and was a member of the Kosciusko County board of Zoning appeals, where he served as the chairman for many years.
He was past patron of Kosciusko chapter 169 O.E.S, was a member of Kosciusko Masonic Lodge 418 F. & A.M. He was a member of Scottish Rite and belonged to the Mizpah Shrine in Fort Wayne.
He is survived by eight children, Amy (Slade) Smith, Yorktown, Robert Jessop (Bobbi) Beer II, North Webster, Victoria Lynn Richardson, Milford, Christian William (Lisa) Beer, milford, John Harry (Tabatha) Beer, Milford, Thomas Edwin (Trisha) Beer, Syracuse, Abby (Caleb) Gish, Larwill and Nicholas Aaron Beer, Milford. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and one brother, Theodore (Nancy) Beer, Leesburg.
Visitation will be from 2-8pm Wednesday, April 10 and funeral Services will be Thursday, April, 11 at 11:00am, Mishler Funeral Home, milford. There will be a graveside service immediately following the funeral at Milford Cemetery.
