Constant Besanceney Passes Away at Early Hour This Morning After Long Illness.
Constant Besanceney a well known citizen of Piqua, died this morning at 4 o'clock at his home 120 South Avenue. He had been failing in health for several months suffering from comlications of ailments incident to advanced life.
Constant Besanceney was 71 years of age. He was a native of France, he came to the United States when a child of nine years. For the past 45 years he had been a resident of Piqua. During the active years of his life he followed the trade of shoemaker. He is survived by his widow, his sons, Councilman Henry Besanceney, Constant Besanceney, Edward Besanceney and the Misses Mary and Minnie Besanceney, his daughters.
The funeral will be held Monday at 8 o'clock at St. Mary's Catholic church. Burial will be in Forest Hill cemetery
