Mrs. Ball, Teacher Of Music, Dies
Mrs. Elizabeth Annette Ball of Tionesta, 52, prominent music teacher in the Forest County schools, died suddenly at 5:30 a.m. Friday at Hamot Hospital, Erie, after an accidental fall in her home. She was born March 8, 1918, in Edgewood, Pa., the daughter of Walter C. and Elizabeth Henderson Renton. She was a graduate of Indiana State Teacher's College. She served as Past Matron and organist for the Sylvania Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star No. 102 here. She is survived by her husband, Wayne N. Ball of Tionesta, and two brothers, Neil Renton of Pittsburgh, and Walter Renton of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Friends may call at the James K. Haslet Funeral Home here, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, with Rev. Edward M. McKee, retired, of Sligo, officiating. Interment will be in the Riverside Cemetery, Tionesta.
