Mrs. Sarah Eager Bird Perryman, age 92, of 2336 Gail Ave., Albany, died Friday morning, June 20, 1990 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany.
Mrs. Perryman was born and reared in Colquitt, lived in Blakely and Arlington and for the last 13 years in Albany. She was the wife of the late Charles George Perryman of Blakely, and the daughter of the late Buford Cordelle and Nellie Wilkin Bird of Colquitt. She was a homemaker and a member of the Arlington United Methodist Church.
Graveside services for Mrs. Perryman were held Sunday, June 22, at 5:00 p.m. in Colquitt City Cemetery with Rev. Doug Mays of Arlington United Methodist Church officiating.
Pallbearers were Andy Lanier III, Eager F. (Buddy) Perryman, Francis Culbreth, Eddie Matkin, Bill Dismuke and Dr. Wiley Wilkin Bird, Jr.
Survivors include one daughter, Carolyn Perryman Lanier; and eight grandchildren, Mike Perryman, Atascadero, Ca; Pattie Zakel, Escalon, Ca.; Eager F. Buddy Perryman, Ocala, Fla.; Rayna Perryman Hayes, Dothan, Ala.; Andy Lanier III, Myrtle Beach, S.C.; Rex Culbreth ad Regina Culbreth Lang, Orlando, Fla.; 11 great-grandchildren and a large number of nieces and nephews.
Colquitt Funeral home was in charge of arrangements.
