Charlie worked for B&W Brake and Alignment in Austin, Texas for over 36 years. He would eventually purchase the business and move its location back to his hometown of Elgin. In his spare time he enjoyed playing dominoes with his family and friends; farming and ranching, where he raised cattle, and grew corn and hay. Charlie worked hard his whole life and had many talents, especially teaching himself to play the guitar, mandolin, fiddle, and piano.
He is preceded in death by both his parents, and his two brothers, John and Roy Morgan.
Charlie leaves behind his two daughters, Donna and husband Steve Agee of Milano and Michelle and husband Charlie King of Cedar Creek; four grandsons, Justin and Caleb Stevenson, Jacob and Colby King; two granddaughters, Rachel and Morgan Stevenson; one brother Sam Morgan and wife Alice of Elgin; one sister Audrey and Merle Rother of McDade; and dear friend and companion, Lillian Buzan. He will be missed and loved forever by all that knew him.
The family will receive guests at the Elgin Funeral Home from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Sunday, April 7th. A funeral service will be conducted at the Elgin Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Monday, April 8th with Pastor Greg Spears officiating. Interment will follow at the Lawhon Springs Cemetery.
