Obituary-Death takes aged Rock Falls man-
William Higgins aged 70 years, a lifelong resident of Rock Falls passed away at noon Tues. at the home of his son Frank Higgins, 300 E. 9th St. Rock Falls, following a lingering illness, resulting from a stroke of paralysis three years ago. A second stroke on Tuesday morning caused his death. Mrs. Higgins is survived by his widow, Mrs. Frances Higgins of Rock Falls and the following children, Mrs. Margaret Jones, Chicago, Miss Anna Higgins,Rock Falls, Frank Higgins, Rock Falls, John Higgins, Cleveland, OH. and Floyd Higgins, Tampa,FL.

The funeral of William Higgins of Rock Falls will be held Sat. morning at 9 o'clock at St. Mary's Church. Interment will be made in Calvary cemetery. Mrs. Margaret Jones of Chicago and John Higgins of Cleveland, Ohio, daughter and son of the deceased arrived Wednesday, called by their father's death. Other relatives who will attend the funeral are Mrs. Walter Kinne and Mrs. Thomas Powers of Chicago, William Powers and family of Amboy, Michael and John Powers of Ohio Station and Edward Powers and family of Aurora.
