Raymond J McCarty "Red" as everyone knew him was born November 26, 1936, passed away peacefully August 9, 2011. He was married for 50 years to his loving wife, Doris McCarty. They had six children, Don McCarty, Carrie Parsons, Vivian McCarty, Linda Gerber, Doug McCarty and Natilie McCarty. 13 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. He was raised in Lark Utah with his two brothers, Ken (Betty) and Bill (Dot) McCarty. Graduated from Bingham High.
Worked hard as a driller and the last 13 years with Lowes. He was loved by his wife and family and all who knew him. He will be missed.
There will be a celebration of his life Friday August 12, 2011, 6-9 pm at the Pioneer Hall. 1140 West 7800 South. West Jordan Utah.
