Elizabeth "Betty" Dales, 90, of North Little Rock passed away February 18th, 2011. Betty was born August 26th, 1920 in Munising, Michigan to the late PM and Clara Lollich. She is preceded in death by her husband of 46 years Harry Dales. Mrs. Dales was an energetic and entertaining woman who never met a stranger nor made an enemy. She was known for her dry wit and for having the best stories to recant with family and friends. She enjoyed reading and was a dog lover. She served her country as an Army Nurse during WWII in Normandy, France and in Italy, she retired in 1987 from nursing as the head nurse for the VA Hospital.

Leaving to cherish her memory are her daughters, Chris Dales of North Little Rock, Karen Pereira and her husband Joe Early of Lafayette, Colorado and Kim Hodge of Austin, Texas; grandchildren Eric, David, Brian and Kelly Pereira and Nick, Lauren, Emily and Garrett Hodge; four great-grandchildren and 3 step-great-grandchildren; and a host of friends.

Her family would like to thank her caregivers Johnnie Moore and Cassondra Sneed for their love and devotion to their Mother.

A graveside memorial service will be held on Wednesday, February 23rd at 2 p.m. at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Memorial Park
