∼Visitation only will be held from 6 to 8 this evening at Morgan Funeral Chapel for Charles Wayne Baker Jr., 61, Rainbow City, who died March 31, 2013. On site cremation provided by Morgan Funeral Chapel and Crematory.
Mr. Baker was an avid hunter, fisherman and rail-buggy rider. Some of his happiest moments were spent with his wife watching their grandsons play baseball and football. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Francis Baker Sr.; brother, Lynn Baker; and beloved pet, Missy.
Survivors: wife, Sherry Ann (Collins) Baker, Rainbow City; daughter and son, Amanda and Wayne; chosen daughter and son-in-law, Amy (Jason) Gilley, Glencoe; stepsons, Robbi (Lisa) Stone, Rainbow City, Rod (Sheila) Stone, Southside; grandchildren, Dylan Stone, Colton Stone, Blaine McLaughlin, Amanda McLaughlin, Ashley McLaughlin; great-grandchildren, LaAnna Herring, Jaden Moon; sister, Linda (Dwight) Wooten, Fort Payne.
Green plants will be accepted.
Honorary pallbearers: Jason Gilley, Gary Kennedy Sr., Mike Parker and Kenny Lambert.
