Mrs. Atkinson was a lifelong resident of the Town of Niagara, NY. Cindy, as she was known by family and friends, attended the former Sacred Heart School and graduated from the former Madonna High School. From 1984 until her retirement in 2011, she worked as a Home Health Care Aide for Mercy Home Care. Mrs. Atkinson enjoyed garage and estate sales. Cindy was an animal lover of all kinds.
Mrs. Atkinson is survived by two children, Mark (Melinda) Stoianoff of Niagara Falls, NY and Audrey Stoianoff-Holup of the Town of Niagara, NY; one brother, Bernard (late Joyce) Garey of Niagara Falls, NY; one sister, Genie of Oregon and many beloved nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Cindy was predeceased by one sister, Christine Stoianoff.
