She was employed by the Piscataway Township Public Schools in the Food Service Department. She retired from Rutgers University in 1983. She loved the game of baseball and rooting for the New York Yankee's.
Mrs. Langer was pre deceased by her husband Robert Langer in 1985. She was also predeceased by her brothers; Frank, Charlie and Henry Zimmerman and a sister Frances Lohmann.
She is survived by her children; Robert Langer of Jackson, Judy Delfino of Jackson, and Terry Langer and wife Linda; brother; William Zimmerman of Piscataway, sister Dorothy Mahon of New Egypt, 5 grandchildren; Kim Kerezsi, Amy Delfino, Eric Langer, Brian Langer, and Robert Langer and great grandchildren; Carson, Camryn and Cooper Kerezsi, and Seth, Maya and Mary Alice Langer.
A funeral service will take place on Monday at 11AM at Gleason Funeral Home 1360 Hamilton Street in Somerset. Interment will follow at Lake Nelson Cemetery in Piscataway.
