MRS. GLADYS JENNY
ROME - Mrs. Gladys Jenny, 80, of 1603 Craig St., died yesterday in Rome Hospital.
She was born in Oneida, daughter of Fred and Mary Elizabeth Scofield Blakeman, and attended school there. In 1916, she was married to Charles A. Jenny. He died in 1974. He was president of the Varaflex Corp.
She had lived in Rome since 1918 and was a member of First Baptist Church and its Friendship Bible Class; a past matron of Holly Chapter, OES and a member of the Christian Women's Club.
Survivors includes a niece, Mrs. James T. (Dorothy) Griffin of Rome; three nephews, Gerald E., Robert J. and William L. Griffin, all of Rome.
The funeral will be at 10 tomorrow from the Strong Funeral Home. Burial will be in Rome Cemetery.
Calling hours are from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 today.
