Marie MacMurray Hennessey who taught at the Poquonock Elementary School in Windsor for 22 years before retiring in 1991, died Tuesday at a local nursing home at the age of 73. She lived at 1230 Mattianuck Ave. in Windsor.
She was a member of the Windsor Education Association, the Connecticut Education Association and the National Education Association.
Hennessey was the widow of Stephen F Hennessey. She also leaves three sons, Stephen F. Hennessey, John P Hennessey and Peter K. Hennessey; a daughter, Mrs. Joan DiMarzo, and five grandchildren.
