Mrs. Ada Lindsey Harris, a former resident of Waverly, died Thursday, October 6, at Long Beach, Calif., at the age of 80.
Deceased was a daughter of the late William D. and Eliza L. Lindsey and grew to womanhood in Waverly. She was married to William Alfred "Fred" Harris, of Waverly, who preceded her in death on April 19, 1921.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Nadine Luebbers of Long Beach, Calif.; one sister, Mrs. Pearl Ferrel, of Springfield, four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the Elinger and Kunz Funeral Home in Springfield.
Burial was in East Cemetery, Waverly.
