A Burlington native who had lived for many years in Colchester, Connn, Mrs Rose Delima Destromp, 79, died in a hospital there Saturday after a long illness.

She was the widow of Arthur Destromp.

Mrs Destromp was born in St. Valaire Quebec, Apr 5, 1886, the daughter of David and Armine (Allard) Mercier.

She leaves two sons, Harry of Jericho, and Raymond of Windsor Locks, Conn., four daughters, Mrs. George Desrosier, Windsor Locks; Mrs Henry Chase, Coventry, Conn; Mrs Orie Barkyoumb, Cropseyville, NY, and Mrs Harry Riley, Colchester, Conn., tow sisters, Mrs Emelia Gingras, Burlington, and Mrs Anna Mercier, Malletts Bay; 24 grandchildren and 14 great grand children.

Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday at St Mark's Roman Catholic Church; Burial will follow in the family lot in New Mt Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call at A Boucher and Son Funeral Home, 169 North St. Arrangements by A Boucher and Son.
