Doris is survived by: her children, Michael C. (Patricia) Kinney, Bonnie L. (Robert) Kinney-Card, Charles T. (Susan) Kinney Jr., Joseph D. (Dawn) Kinney Sr., George B. (Linda) Basos, Kathy L. (James) Basos-Hamlin, and Shawn L. (Michael) Basos-Bostwick; 17 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and their families, along with her friends at the school house apartments.
Doris was predeceased by her siblings, Robin "Bud" Reid, Lillian Croffutt, and Margaret Newhart.
Funeral services and celebration of Doris's life will be held on Sunday, Dec. 14 at 2 p.m. at the Sutfin Funeral Chapel, 273 S. Main St., Nichols, with Pastor Wayne Sibrava officiating. Interment will be in the Nichols Cemetery. A period of visitation and sharing memories will be held on Saturday, Dec. 13 from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral chapel and on Sunday from 1 p.m. until the time of the service at 2 p.m. Memories and condolences for Doris's family may also be shared by visiting www.sutfinfuneralchapel.com.
