Harold Wilberd Abenth, 77, of Connell, dedicated husband, father and grandfather, passed away peacefully in the early morning hours at home on November 28, 2012.
Harold was a retired spot welder, and had lived in Connell for 20 years. Harold collected antique clocks and radios, loved to play yahtzee, cribbage and farkle with his wife and family.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Eileen, children David Abenth, and Janet (Mark) Barnes-Johnson. Grandchildren, Keelan and Julie Abenth, Randy Barnes, Brian Barnes, Christopher Johnson, Nick Johnson and Parker Johnson. Brother and Sister, Diane Indelacato, Alaina Robinson, Sharon Sousa, Dennis Lanham, and Connie Abenth. Harold was also blessed to have numerous sister and brother in laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Harold was preceded in death by his mother, Verna Rittman, father Wilberd Abenth, Son Dale Allen, and brother, Diebert Sousa.
A Loving Farewell was celebrated on Saturday December 1, 2012 at the Gideon Lutheran Church in Connell with burial following at the Mountain View Cemetery.
