Cora Agnes King, 89 of Springfield, VA died on March 11, 2013 at Warrenton Overlook Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Savannah, GA on June 11, 1923 the daughter of the late Paul Canady and Callie Chitty. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband James T. King. She had worked for the Federal Government. She is survived by her children Thomas W. King, Marshall, VA and Margaret L. King, Paris, France, daughter-in-law Lynne Summers, Marshall, VA, grandson Lane & wife Jacqueline Summers and great grandchildren Drake and Charlotte Summers. A memorial service will be held March 20, 2013 at 11:00AM at Franconia United Methodist Church, 6037 Franconia Rd., Alexandria, VA 22310. Graveside services will be held at Quantico National Cemetery at 11 AM on Thursday March 21, 2013.Memorial contributions may be made to Franconia United Methodist Chrurch.
