Douglas C. Bailey, 27, formerly of Sauk Centre, died April 10, 1997, at Lake Region Hospital, Fergus Falls. Funeral services were April 14, at First Baptist Church, Alexandria. The Rev. Darryl Knappen officiated with interment in Greenwood Cemetery, Sauk Centre. Douglas Bailey was born Dec. 24, 1969, in Sauk Centre, to Art and Martha (Hubbeling) Bailey. He grew up working on the family farm and attended Sauk Centre High School, graduating with the Class of 1988. He continued his education at Moorhead State University with an interest in Restaurant Management. He held various summer jobs while attending school and was presently employed at Domino's Pizza in Alexandria. Survivors inlude his parents, Art and Martha Bailey of Osakis; brother, Brian Bailey of San Diego, Calif; sister, Maya Bailey of Alexandria; grandmother, Gertrude Hubbeling of Madrid, Iowa; several aunts, uncles and many cousins and friends. Pallbearers were cousins, Krista Wiegers, Paul Pischke, Jr., James Bailey, Jr., Greg Bailey, Lynn Bailey and Jeffrey Bailey. Arrangements were made with Anderson Funeral Home, Alexandria.
