On Nov. 8, 1899, Tom was united in marriage to Josephine McMillan. They established a home on a farm near Blue Rapids, KS. Their home was blessed with two sons, Lester and Lloyd, now of Clay Center, KS and one daughter, now Mrs. Matt (Lena) Stoffel of Blue Rapids, KS. They moved to Blue Rapids in 1945 when his health was failing. He was a member of the Methodist Church, having joined Nov. 5, 1950.
Thomas passed away early Monday morning, Nov. 4, 1957 at Randell Hospital in Marysville, KS, where he was a patient only a few days.
Survivors are his wife, Josephine; his daughter and her husband, Lena and Matt Stoffel; his sons and their wives, Lloyd and Marguerite and Lester and Pearl Fincham; his grandchldren, Carol Strader, Jarvis Stoffel, Loren Fincham, Irma Jean Schaulis, Tommy Fincham; two step-grandsons Barry and Claude Shivers; 4 great grandchildren and 2 step-great grandsons. He leaves one brother, Richard Fincham of Waterville and 4 sisters, Sarah Monteith and Margaret Ewing of Blue Rapids; Alice Farrar of San Diego, CA; and Kathryn Shaw of Waterville.
His parents and four brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.
Services were held Nov. 4th with Rev. T. F. Rudisill officiating. Interment was in Prospect Hill Cemetery, rural Blue Rapids, KS with Perry Funeral Services in charge.
