TIPTON COUNTY NATIVE DIES TUESDAY NIGHT

Chester E. Nel;son 70, retired farmer of 410 Eastern Drive Chesterfield, died suddenly Tuesday evening shortly after being admitted to St. John's hospital. Born Oct 29,1892 in Tipton County he was the son of James B. and Mazy Bannon Nelson. He moved from Tipton County to Chesterfield 10 years ago. He was a member of the Spiritualist Church at Chesterfield and the Eagles Lodge of Elwood. Survivors include the widow Bessie, a son Virgil E. Nelson of Kokomo, two step sons, Cecil W. Curran of Fort Lauderdale,Fla. and James Curran of Mt. Vernon,Ohio; three brothers Claude and Harold of Elwood and James (Jack) of Elwood, one granddaughter and five step grandchildren. The body is at the Brown and Butz Funeral Home in Anderson where friends may call after one o'clock Thursday afternoon. Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 10:30 o'clock at the Brown and Butz home. Rev Pansy Cox of Anderson will officiate. Burial will be made in the Elwood City Cemetery.
