Mrs. Kimberly Kay Kapsner, age 45 of Mount Vernon, passed away on Friday, November 16, 2012 at her home, with her family at her side. She was born on October 10, 1967 in St. Cloud, Minnesota to Eugene and Sandra Talberg Secord. Kimberly worked as a logistics analyst, landscape architect and homemaker. She loved spending time outdoors, gardening, and playing vintage video games, and card games. She was a Catholic and attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Mount Vernon Vernon. She is preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Teresa Kapsner. She is survived by her husband, Stephen A. Kapsner of Mount Vernon; father, Gene Secord of Princeton, MN.; mother, Sandy Talberg-Secord of Princeton, MN.; brothers, Jason Secord and wife Lisa of Minneapolis, MN., Erik Secord and wife Ashlee of Burnsville, MN., Hank Secord and wife Lupita of Dallas; father-in-law, Charles L. Kapsner; brother-in-law, Richard Allen Kapsner and wife Cari, Douglas Edward Kapsner; numerous nieces and nephews; special friend, Nina Biddle-Rose, and beloved pets, Oscar, Remington, and Jimmy D.
