Mrs. Marie Swearengin Cross, 74, of Durham, died on Monday, March 18, 2013. Mrs. Cross was born in Durham to the late Henry Swearengin and Mary Lucy Marcom Swearengin.
She retired from Adam's Products as an Administrative Assistant.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Cross; and brother, Don Swearengin.
She is survived by two daughters, Debbie Hunt and Cindy Cross both of Durham; one brother, Fred Swearengin of Alabama; and grandchildren, Megan Hunt, Trey Hunt and Whitney.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. at Maplewood Cemetery.
