Debra Kay Gore-Sopr, 39, of Fort Collins, Colo., died Nov. 3 in Fort Collins.

She was born Dec. 18, 1964, in La Junta, Colo., and lived in Fort Collins since 1993.

She married John R. Sopr on May 5, 1995, in Estes Park, Colo.

Mrs. Gore-Sopr was an office manager at John's RV and Boat in Fort Collins for several years.

She enjoyed camping, boating, watching NASCAR and socializing with friends.

She is survived by her husband, John Sopr of Fort Collins; her son, Joseph McKenzie of Cheyenne; her mother, Mary Jo Pettis of Clayton, N.M.; her father and stepmother, Charley Gore and Maxine (McKenzie) Gore of Cheyenne; a brother, Rick McKedy of Clayton; two sisters, Mary Virginia Steckler of Duncenter, N.D., and Janice Gore of Cheyenne; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her stepfather, Charles Pettis; and a brother, Ronnie Gore.

Cremation has taken place at Goes Funeral Care in Fort Collins. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Sunnyside Southern Baptist Church, 3411 Cleveland Ave.

A fund has been created to help with expenses, and donations may be made c/o John Sopr at Wells Fargo Bank, 1701 Capital Ave. in Cheyenne or 401 South College in Fort Collins.
