Memorial services for Della Mae Bryan, 84, of Palestine were held at Herrington/Land of Memory Chapel with Owen Perry officiating. She died at Palestine Healthcare Center.
She was born to Ben and Ada Percy White Bryan.
Mrs. Bryan had lived in Palestine most of her life. She was a pioneer in the nursing home field serving as a nursing home administrator and nurse for 40 years. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by daughter, Betty Patterson Sadler and Claudine Patterson Walker; and brother Frank Bryan.
Mrs. Bryan is survived by son, Gary Woodrow Parker of Palestine; 12 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
