Lucille Hubbard "Granny Mac" McDowell, 89 of White Sulphur Springs, WV was the daughter of the late Toney and LeAnna Hubbard. During her younger years, she resided in Glace, WV, then moved to White Sulphur Springs in 1970. She retired from the Greenbrier Hotel after many years of service. Granny Mac was famous for spoiling her grandchildren and great grandchildren with her cakes and brownies. She enjoyed crocheting Afghans and giving them away to friends and those who were sick. You could nearly always find her in the yard working on her flowers or in her rocking chair on the back porch with her cat. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Clyde McDowell; daughters: Linda McDowell Craft and Donna Jean McDowell; siblings: Ruth McCarthy and Wanda Hubbard. She is survived by he children:-Mary Lee Hoke, Patricia Smith, Bobby McDowell, Cathy Nutter, and Ronnie McDowell; siblings: Toney Hubbard Jr., Lewis Hubbard, Carol Hubbard Hoke, Ralph Hubbard, and Marty Hubbard
