President Lincoln's baby brother.

Son of and Thomas and Nancy Lincoln

This the gravestone was placed on Tommy Lincoln's grave by Boy Scout Post 15 of Des Moines, Iowa.

Baby Tommy died in infancy and was named after his father Thomas Lincoln.

This is the original grave marker that has been discovered for Tommy Lincoln. Analysis of the letters "T" and "L" carved into the stone match exactly with other engraved letters (in cabinetry) of Abraham Lincoln's father, Thomas. The evidence would certainly point to Thomas Lincoln carving these initials on little Tommy Lincoln's gravestone.

Tommy Lincoln was buried originally in the Redmond family cemetery on a knoll overlooking the Lincoln's farm near Hodgenville, Kentucky. A Boy Scout troop donated a new marker for the child in 1959.

The original gravemarker for Thomas Lincoln Jr. is on display at the Nancy Lincoln Inn next to the Birthplace.
