(Benvenuto) Benjamin P. DeLuca, 77, of Mountainhome, died Wednesday, April 16, at the home of his daughter in Stroudsburg. He was the husband of the late Barbara DeLuca.
Born in Scranton, he was a son of the late Dominick and Agnes (Naples) DeLuca.

Before his retirement, he was employed at many of the Pocono area's resorts as a chef. He was a veteran of the United States Navy.

Surviving are three sons, Butch DeLuca of Hoboken, N.J., Phil DeLuca of Dallas, and Benjamin DeLuca of Cresco; three daughters, Ruthann Kukla of Stroudsburg, Susan DeLuca of Mountainhome, Bonnie Schreiber of Flanders, N.J.; a sister, Anna Sisko of Lake Ariel; 14 grandchildren, Alison and David Kukla of Stroudsburg, Stacy Gray of Mountainhome, Amanda DeLuca of Andover, N.J., Aliza and Maria Schreiber of Flanders, N.J., Danielle, Todd, Deidre, and Brian DeLuca of Dallas, Steven, Ana, Giovanna, and Adrianne DeLuca of Mt. Pocono, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Ginello and Katherine DeLuca.
