Ret. Lt. Col. Charles Daniel "Dan" Kennedy, of The Villages, passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2013. Mr. Kennedy was a native of Charleston, West Virginia. He retired after 24 years in the Air Force. He then began his second career for Ball Aerospace Engineering. His biggest joy was his family. He is survived by his wife Rose; his 2 daughters, Teresa and Debbie, and son in laws Chris and Steve; his 6 grandchildren, Christopher, Kennedy, Killian, Logan, Chloe, and Ryan; his sisters, Carol McAteer, Kitty Price, and Ruth King. He is preceded in death by his sister MaryLou Bordas. A memorial service will be held at 2 pm, Friday March 15, 2013 at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, The Villages, 1511 Buenos Aires Blvd.
At Dan's request his interment will be in Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
