Woodie Allen, age 92 of Sulligent, passed away Friday, March 8, 2013 in Tuscaloosa, AL. Funeral service will held at 12:00 noon, Friday, March 15, 2013 from Otts Funeral Home Chapel with military honor graveside service and burial in Gilmer Addition of Sulligent City Cemetery. Rev. Andre Evans will officiate. Visitation will be at the funeral home Friday morning after 9:00 am.
Woodie was born February 11, 1921 in Lamar County, AL to the late Mack and Lonnie Brock Allen. He worked at a saw mill and was a WWII US Army Veteran. Woodie was a member of Moscow CME.
