Mt. Zion-Pamela J Daniel, 64, of Mt. Zion, passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2013 in Decatur Memorial Hospital.

Pam was born March 10, 1949 in Syracuse, New York the daughter of Warren and Delores (Eno) Sharp. She married Charles Daniel in 1971 and graduated from nursing school in 1970.

Pam worked over 18 years with CHIC Clinic, with St. Johns Home Health and Hospice, and Dr. Minnaganti's office. Pam was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother, and a very compassionate nurse. Her husband and her would love to travel together and would frequently take their grandchildren with them.

She loved working as a nurse and cared very deeply for patients no matter who they were. She loved to cook and to watch the cooking show to get new recipes to try. Her family was her life and she fought a good fight. As long as her family was with her she was ready for anything. We will miss you so much, but we know that you are in Heaven with Jesus, watching over us, pain free, and celebrating with Jesus and your parents.

Pam leaves behind her husband Chuck of over 41 years; daughters, Beth Daniel of Jasper, GA, Heather (Dale) Miedema of Gilberts, IL; grandchildren, Andrew, Ryan and Matthew; brothers, Larry (Becky) Sharp of Aurora, OH, Chuck (Ann) Sharp of Winston Salem, NC, and many other loving family members and friends.

In addition to her parents, Pam was preceded in death by several aunts and uncles.

Memorial service to celebrate Pam's life will be 1 P.M. Friday, March 15, 2013 in Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, March 14, 2013 at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to McGaughey Elementary School in Mt. Zion.

The Daniel family would like to send a special thank you to not only her boss, but her Dr and her friend Dr. Minnaganti and Dr. Ballard for their compassion and care for her. Also to the staff of 3500 at DMH for taking awesome care of our wife/mother.
