"Minnie" was a twin sister of William Tecumseh Sherman Norris. She, with her husband Albert Cooper Buffum, operated a photography and picture framing studio in the front part of their home on Ventura Avenue in Ventura, Callifornia for many years. They pioneered the "tinting" of photographs in that area of California.

Services for Mrs. Willmenia Buffum, 87, of 478 W. Ramona St. Ventura, will be at 1 p. m. Saturday in the Joseph P. Readon Funeral Chapel, Ventura, with the Rev. Earl Opie officiating. Interment will be in Ivy Lawn Memorial Park.
Mrs. Buffum died Thursday in a local convalescent home after a brief illness. She and her late husband, Albert, who died in 1972, operaated a picture framing shop on Ventura Avenue for many years prior to his death in 1972. She was born Dec. 7, 1888 in Kansas. She is survived by a niece, Mrs. E. Grayce Opie of Long Beach.
