Obediah Cyrus Hooper died at an early hour Monday evening in Williams at the home of his sister, Mrs. N. M. Mapes. Hooper was born in Wheatland, Yuba county, November 21, 1863, and has lived in Williams for several years.
Those who survive him are his mother, Mrs. Harry J. Hooper of Humboldt county, two brothers, W. W. Hooper of Gridley, J. D. Hooper of Patterson, Stanislaus county, and two sisters, Mrs. Jessie Pedrotti of Humboldt county, and Mrs. Mapes of Williams.
Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock from the graveside at the Maxwell cemetery. Interment will be under the direction of J. D. McNary & Son.
