Sara J. Bachmann, 50, passed away Saturday, March 9, 2013.

Born in Libertyville, IL, Sara was a 1984 graduate of Indiana State University and member of the Eastern Star. She loved animals and volunteered in the art classes of Leo and Cedarville Elementary Schools.

Surviving are her husband, Kris Bachmann, and son, Bronson Bachmann, both of Spencerville, mother, Anna Ruth Hornback, and brother, Curtis (Sandy) Hornback, both of Durant, OK, and sister, Sally Allen of Noblesville, IN.

Sara was preceded in death by her father Edgar Hornback.

Service is 4 p.m. Saturday at D.O. McComb and Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 East Dupont Road, with calling 2 hours prior. Calling also 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Graveside service will be Monday 1 p.m. at Hackleman Cemetery, Chrisney, IN.
