The Herald, Piedmont, West Virginia, March 20, 1947: "Requiem mass for Mrs. Elizabeth Veronica Bryson, 60, wife of James T. (sic- P.) Bryson, who died Sunday at her home, 538 North Center street, Cumberland, after an illness of several months, was celebrated yesterday morning at St. Patrick's Catholic church, with interment in St. Patrick's cemetery, Cumberland. A native of Westernport, Mrs. Bryson was a daughter of John and Bessie McPartland McGreevy. She had resided in Cumberland for the past 18 years and was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic church and of the Sodality of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Besides her husband, she is survived by one son, James S. Bryson, Baltimore; a daughter, Mrs. Lawrence Moore, at home; and one sister, Mrs. Mary Kirk, Wilmerding, Pa."
