SAN DIEGO, California -- Paul E. Aubrey, passed away on February 22, 2013, in the loving care of the V.A. Hospital Hospice in La Jolla, CA, after a relatively short valiant battle with lung and bone cancer.

He was born in Lowell, MA on February 12, 1942. He was educated at St. Louis elementary school and St. Joseph H.S. in Lowell.

He served honorably in the Air Force from 1960 to 1964.

He lived most of his adult life in San Francisco, Las Vegas, and San Diego, working in the hotel industry. Even though he lived on the west coast he frequently came back home and maintained a close relationship with his immediate family and numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins. He was always ready to share his love of Boston sports teams.

He is survived by his mother, Doris Y. Widebeck in Hudson, NH; and his brothers, Donald in Chicago, IL, and Roger in Tucson, AZ.

His faith was very strong and sustained and comforted him in his battle with cancer.

AUBREY -- A funeral Mass will be celebrated on April 27th at 11:00 a.m. at St. John Evangelist Church in Hudson, NH. Interment will be at St. Joseph's Cemetery in East Chelmsford, MA, along side his late father, Leo Aubrey after the mass.
