Betty Sue Addington, 74, of Eolia, died January 25 at Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Hospital.
A daughter of the late Malla McCowan and Cora Shepherd Adams, she was the widow of Jesse Addington Sr.
She was a grandmother of the late Eric Benge and Joey Christopher Addington, and a sister of the late Larry McCown and Jerry McCown.
Funeral services were held January 28 at Little Dove Church. Burial was in the Potter family cemetery at Payne Gap.
Letcher Funeral Home of Whitesburg had charge of arrangements.

Burial will follow in the Potter Family Cemetery at Payne Gap, Kentucky.
