Mrs. Grace R. Brainard, 65, of Alyn Way, Stormville, died June 3 in Putnam Hospital Center, Carmel. She was the widow of George Brainard. A Stormville resident 28 years, she was born Feb. 25, 1919, in Brooklyn. She was a member of the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Carmel. She is survived by 4 sons, George F. of Carmel, Frederick of Lake Carmel, Robert of North Carolina and Edward of Fishkill; 4 daughters, Pauline See of Carmel, Margaret Morrison of Lake Carmel, Elizabeth Barrett of Stormville and Gladys Flynn of New Hyde Park, N.Y.; a sister,Margaret Reisirig of Valley Stream, L.I.; 18 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted at the Adams-Cordovano Funeral Home 15 Church St., Carmel. Burial was in Raymond Hill Cemetery.
