Henry "Hank" Ace Jr., 71, of Bushkill passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 26, at Easton Nursing Center in Easton. He had just celebrated his 48th wedding anniversary with his loving wife Joan (Mutchler) Ace on Oct. 22.
Born on June 16, 1932, in Stroudsburg, he was the son of the late Henry and Alice (Stettler) Ace Sr.

Hank worked at Pocono Mountain Lake Estates as a maintenance man for 10 years. Prior to that, he owned and operated Ace Refuse Removal in Bushkill for 23 years. He also defended our country during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the American Legion, Newman Smith Post 514 in Bushkill and was president of the Home Corp. at the Legion for 16 years. He will be missed by all those who knew him and loved him.

In addition to his wife, Joan, who resides at home, he is survived by three sons, Duane H. Ace and his wife Sharon of East Stroudsburg, James D. Ace of Seffner, Fla., and John P. Ace and his wife Ellen of Bushkill; one daughter, Bonnie Ace Sattur and her husband James of Bushkill; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandsons. Two sisters, Betty Garris of Bushkill and Edna Garris of East Stroudsburg and many nephews also survive him. He was preceded in death by one sister, Alberta Dunbar; and one granddaughter, Jennifer Ace.
